Services
Our focus is on implementation when preparing corridor, area, and specific plans. We always prepare zoning amendments on the heels of specific and area plans to facilitate plan implementation and conduct environmental review to support future streamlining.
We specialize in zoning reform, updating zoning ordinances to accomplish specific goals, such as housing production and affordability, retail preservation, and process streamlining. In response to recent California legislation, we have prepared objective design standards to reinforce community design values, even without discretionary review.
Lexington Planning’s experience in multifamily housing, research & development, and commercial uses spans both sides of the table: contract planning for local jurisdictions and entitlement assistance in collaboration with Rhoades Planning Group. We also conduct staff trainings and write grant applications.
